NEM publically recognizes its European affiliate, Global Breakthrough
Energy Movement
, an independent organization focusing on facilitating
the widespread awareness and use of Breakthrough Energy technologies.

Global BEM put on another astounding conference... this one at the
Bastrop Convention Center near Austin, TX, May 28-29. Alongside other
Breakthrough Energy leaders, under the banner: 2 Days / 10 Presentations/
400 People / 1 Objective
, NEM President Susan Manewich spoke on Getting
Back to our Collective Natural Blueprint: Grassroots Breakthrough Energy

NEM President Joel Garbon joined a panel of leading visionaries at the
Architects of the New Paradigm Conference Series in San Rafael, CA,
January 16-17, 2016. Videos of all the sessions have graciously been
made available.

In May, 2015, NEM President Joel Garbon joined a host of other luminaries
at the Contact in the Desert conference in Joshua Tree.

On January 11, 2014, the Tesla Science Foundation hosted their 2nd
Annual Tesla Memorial Conference at the New Yorker Hotel in NYC
(where Tesla died on January 7, 1943). The Tesla Science Foundation
was formed to promote the legacy of Nikola Tesla by raising awareness
of his accomplishments and contributions to the 21st Century to include
introducing his many patents and inventions that remain applicable to our
current needs. --- NEM President Joel Garbon spoke at the all-day event,
addressing the need for a standardized set of New Energy testing protocols.

From October 10-12, 2013, New Energy Movement's key partner, Global
Breakthrough Energy Movement
hosted their second major New Energy
conference, this time in Boulder, Colorado. This one was also a resounding
success. Their tech team managed to stream it live, and you can still watch
conference presentations here by selecting one of the streams under the
Conference link! ((Videos of all the conference presentations are available
on YouTube as well.))

NEM president Joel Garbon also spoke at the conference on the need (and
plans) for a formal New Energy vetting team and set of protocols.

Following another presentation on Cold Fusion, NEM board member David
provided insights from his research into New Energy in his talk,
LENR: The Path to Commercialization. ((Note:  David's presentation begins
in this video at 1 hr 28 min. However, to get a feel for the overall quality of
this conference, it would be valuable to watch the opening several minutes
as well. This gathering was not focused solely on technology.))

NEM board member Thomas Valone, Ph.d. offered his presentation on the
Feasability of Extracting Zero-Point Energy from the Vacuum.

Once again, TeslaTech's ExtraOrdinary Technology Conference in
Albuquerque, New Mexico proved itself to be a not-to-be-missed annual events
for scientists and lay-people interested in developments in New Energy.

New Energy inventors/researchers John Bedini and Peter Lindemann
hosted another of their outstanding series of technical conferences in
Hayden, Idaho, June 28-30, 2013.

NEM joined attendees from around the world in Hilversum, Holland for the
launch of the Global Breakthrough Energy Movement this past November.
Many described it as one of the most important and inspiring events they ever
experienced. This 3-day event may very well become a blueprint for other
Breakthrough Energy conferences around the world... a  program covering the
most popular breakthrough technologies and their world-changing implications.

NEM President Joel Garbon presented on Breakthrough Energy Activism.

David William Gibbons and Jeane Manning (an NEM Board of Advisor and
co-author of Breakthrough Power) presented together on the
History of Breakthrough Energy.

The ExtraOrdinary Technology Conference put on by TeslaTech in
Albuquerque, New Mexico continues to be one of the most highly-regarded
annual events for scientists and lay-people interested in developments in
New Energy.

TeslaTech's 2011 ExtraOrdinary Technology Conference (in
Albuquerque, New Mexico, July 28-31 was once again, well... extraordinary.
And the inventors and technologies that will change the world will be at this
event again next summer!

Singer/songerwriter Alice DiMicele drew an enthusiastic crowd to a live
concert in Portland, Oregon as a fundraiser for NEM on May 22nd, 2011.

Co-authors Joel Garbon and Jeane Manning were
featured together on November 11, 2010 at Pacific University in
Forest Grove, Oregon, discussing the potentials highlighted in the
award-winning book: Breakthrough Power: How Quantum-Leap
New Energy Inventions Can Transform Our World.

NEM President Joel Garbon addressed the NW Society of Dowsers
in Portland, Oregon on July 30, speaking on Breakthrough Power and
how Quantum-Leap New Energy Inventions will transform our World.

The Launching of the New Energy Movement
by Stephen Kaplan, November 2004

We recognize that the single most highly leveraged opportunity for advancement toward solving complex global problems lies in transforming the way human civilization generates and utilizes energy. New Energy Movement is focused on facilitating this transformation. - New Energy Movement Mission Statement

The New Energy Movement is dedicated to gaining public support for research and development of new energy technologies that can be rapidly deployed in commercial and consumer markets. The movement was launched at a public forum in Portland, Oregon September 25-26, 2004, entitled "New Energy: The Courage to Change". The conference was dedicated to the memory of Dr.Eugene Mallove, a dedicated champion of new energy R&D, whose untimely death was mourned by all in attendance.
